Christmas card address list template
A simple list with one row per household and the columns every card-mailing service and label maker understands. Download it, fill it in once, and reuse it every year.
To use it in Google Sheets: File → Import → Upload → choose the file. In Excel or Numbers, just open it.
The columns
| Column | Example | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Name | The Johnson Family | Write it the way it should be printed on the card. |
| Address | 400 Elm Ave | House number and street. |
| Address 2 | Apt 3B | Apartment, suite or unit. Leaving it out is the most common reason cards come back. |
| City | Boston | |
| State | MA | Two-letter code or full name. |
| ZIP | 02130 | Format the column as text so Excel keeps the leading zero. |
| Notes | Sent 2025, moved in March | Optional. Mailing services ignore it. |
Keeping the list up to date
- When a card comes back, update the row right away. You won't remember in eleven months.
- Add a "Year sent" column if you send to different people each year.
- Keep one row per household, not per person, so families get one card.
Turn the list into mailed cards
Card Mailer reads this template as it is (and most other layouts). Attach it in ChatGPT or Claude with your photo, and every household gets a printed card in the mail. Addresses are checked against USPS data first. How it works
Price
$2.49 per card, postage included. That covers a 5×7 photo card printed on thick glossy card stock and mailed USPS First-Class. There's no subscription and no minimum order, and you pay only for addresses that can be mailed. If a card can't be delivered to an address, that card is refunded automatically.
